SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

· Use you coding skills to help deliver and enhance a world class payment solutions.

· Work on both card present and card not present solutions. Experience all aspects of the payments industry

· Deploy, improve, and maintain critical high availability systems and services.

· Liaise with our product team, analyse system requirements and develop technical designs.

· Demonstrate your knowledge of the product development lifecycle.

· Adhere to company code standards and practices.

· Be a great team member and have fun.

· Contribute to company's knowledge base and cultural of continual improvement.

Requirements

· years of experience in Spring and Spring Boot particularly with microservices.

· Proficient in Java 17 and Java 21 or the latest version.

· Skilled in version control systems like Git.

· Exposure to cloud & automated CI CD pipeline.

· Experience in large scalable high volume/traffic/distributed systems.

· Great communication skills (tech and non-tech) and a proven track record working closely with stakeholders.

· Sound understanding of SQL.

· Hands-on experience in REST APIs.

· Ability to write unit and integration test cases.

· Working knowledge in React JS.

· Knowledge of and experience in implementing application security

Desirable:

o   Experience with Travel industry.

o   Migrating to latest Java version.

o   Knowledge of Docker

o   Cloud Platforms - especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) (and ideally AWS certified)

Work Details

· Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs

· Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further Notice

· Status: Full time employment or Contractor set-up
