JOB SUMMARY:

The Store Room Custodian is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all materials, supplies, and inventory stored within the facility. The role ensures that items are properly received, labeled, stored, issued, and monitored in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines. This position plays a key role in supporting uninterrupted operations by maintaining optimal stock levels, accurate records, and a clean, organized storeroom environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy of quantities, quality, and documentation.
  • Safely store materials following proper segregation, labeling, and handling procedures.
  • Issue materials to requesting departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain updated inventory records, logs, and reports in the system or manual trackers.
  • Conduct periodic and cycle inventory counts to monitor stock levels and identify variances.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and other departments for material needs and replenishments.
  • Ensure proper organization, cleanliness, and orderliness of the storeroom at all times.
  • Monitor stock conditions, including expiry dates, shelf life, and potential damages; escalate issues as needed.
  • Follow Good Storage Practices (GSP) and company safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in disposal processes for expired, damaged, or obsolete items in coordination with QA and other teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and storage efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least a High School Graduate; Vocational or College Level/Graduate preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year related experience in warehousing, inventory control, or material management.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, carry, or move materials as required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willing to work in Parañaque.
