About the role

PETWAREHOUSE is seeking a talented Purchasing Associate to join our dynamic team in our Cainta Rizal location. As a Purchasing Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of supplies and materials to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing and terms

• Analyzing purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities

• Preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of goods

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production and inventory requirements

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities

• Identifying and resolving any supply chain issues or discrepancies in a timely manner

• Continuously looking for ways to improve purchasing processes and drive efficiency

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers

• Proficient in the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred

• Knowledge of purchasing best practices, market trends, and industry regulations
