Job Summary:

The Corporate Legal & Compliance Associate [Open to Law Students] will assist management in ensuring that company operations, policies, and documentation are compliant with applicable laws, internal guidelines, and ethical standards. This role is ideal for Law Students, Legal Management, or Political Science graduates or undergraduates who wish to gain practical experience in corporate legal affairs, recruitment compliance, and policy implementation. The associate will be actively involved in assisting with legal documentation, policy drafting, recruitment coordination, and verification activities — contributing to a compliant, transparent, and well-organized corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating company policies, guidelines, contracts, service terms, and internal handbooks to ensure compliance with current labor laws and business regulations.
  • Assist in recruitment by coordinating applicant schedules, preparing interview materials, and supporting management during initial interviews.
  • Assist in conducting character reference and background verification of applicants, employees, and independent contractors.
  • Assist in maintaining organized and confidential recruitment records and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining updated digital and physical files for contracts, employee records, and legal documents.
  • Assist in preparing templates and summaries of key documents such as memoranda, agreements, and internal compliance reports.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly filed and easily retrievable for review or audit purposes.
  • Assist in disseminating company policies and updates to staff and ensuring acknowledgment and understanding.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs and internal policies across departments.
  • Assist management in coordinating with relevant agencies (e.g., DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) for compliance-related submissions or inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and materials related to compliance and HR matters.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure day-to-day activities adhere to company guidelines and standards.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned to support legal, HR, or administrative operations of the firm.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining compliance with local and national regulations, including data privacy and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Assist in conducting basic legal research and preparing summaries, policy memos, and compliance advisories for management reference.
  • Assist in preparing formal correspondence such as policy letters, compliance notices, and other legal-related communications.

Qualifications:

  • Open to Law Students, Legal Management, or Political Science graduates or undergraduates.
  • Basic understanding or willingness to learn about the Philippine Labor Code, Data Privacy Act, and corporate compliance processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Responsible, proactive, and eager to learn within a corporate and legal setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php700.00 per day
