Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and meticulous Accounting Assistant to join our team at CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP.' in our Magallanes, Makati City, Metro Manila office. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Performing general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports Maintaining and updating financial records, ledgers, and other accounting documentation Assisting with the preparation of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any accounting-related queries or issues Adhering to company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within a small to medium-sized organisation Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications, such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments Familiarity with Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting practices and procedures Excellent organisational and time management skills A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
