They're looking for a Material Planner based in
Manila, Phillippines
to be a part of the dynamic team The role focuses on developing and executing material planning for the production plants. This includes managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to ensure timely availability. The role also involves collaborating with supply planning and Plant Managers to implement, maintain, and improve purchasing processes.

This is a
hybrid position
based at our ASW office in BGC, Taguig — with 1 day in-office and others remote. The role follows
Australian business hours
(6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila time), offering a great balance of structure and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage materials to align with monthly and weekly production schedules.
  • Create purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, labels, consumables, stationery, and services.
  • Run weekly replenishment reports and raise POs for agency, paper, and equipment items.
  • Maintain order records by updating systems with confirmations and managing the PO email folder.
  • Handle order changes, including amendments, cancellations, substitutions, and closures of obsolete orders.
  • Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and freight forwarders, and follow up on outstanding POs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse) to ensure timely delivery and goods receipt.
  • Track overseas orders, update ETAs, and share weekly delivery schedules with the warehouse.
  • Manage warehouse stock levels, update ERP records, and support supply planning during team absences.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Experienced with similar positions in material planner, procurement, purchasing positions.
  • Strong background in FMCG, Manufacturing or Retail is a big plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical with reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated resilience, openness to change, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and process enhancement
