Responsibilities:

  • Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations; preparing journal entries; preparing monthly closing and financial reports; and preparing account/bank reconciliations.
  • Perform financial analysis, reporting, and management tasks.
  • Oversee the validation of transactions and verification performed by outsourced bookkeeping services.
  • Prepare payments, bank transfers, and conduct bank transactions as needed.
  • Produce periodic financial reports and other financial documents.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate monthly and year-end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliations, and submit reports to the CEO according to prescribed deadlines.
  • Ensure accounts receivable and payable activities are performed accurately and on time.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other finance-related issues.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining audit-compliant internal financial controls.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related course; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Preferably with experience in bookkeeping and general compliance, but not required.
  • Knowledgeable in cheque voucher processing and cheque preparation.
  • Eager and joyful, with a strong "rubber-band" ability to bounce back and try again and again — all with an immovable belief in balance, kindness, and empathy
