Job Description

Engineer in Trainee (EIT)

City, Country- Taguig City, Philippines

Rockwell Automation recruits Engineering Graduates (Freshers or with 1 to 2 years of experience) with the title of "Engineer in Trainee (EIT)". In this role you will undergo structured 1-year training program which includes classroom trainings as well as job rotations in multiple functions, as part of this program you are entitled to choose your career path by choosing one of the functions you have undergone in the job rotations.

You will initially report to the Regional Training Business Manager, AP and have a hybrid schedule working in Philippines, and after completion of training program, you will report to your functional manager depending on your career path selection in the rotation program.

Your Responsibilities:

• Actively engage and demonstrate learning attitude in the first 1-year training program

• Leverage trainings and job rotation opportunities, by developing and demonstrating your capabilities in the rotation program

• After the 1-year training program, you will choose any of the following functions as your career path & gets placed in that function

  • Automation Project Engineering

  • Automation Field Services Engineering

  • Cyber & Network Project Engineer

  • Manufacturing Operations Management/Information Solutions Engineer

  • Technical Proposal Engineer

• After choosing the specific function, your roles & responsibilities may vary based on the function you chose as your career path, some of those major responsibilities may include the following…

  • Support manufacturing industries in their innovate, Design, Operate & Maintain lifecycle phases.

  • Visit to manufacturing industries to delivery projects or services

  • Develop & Delivery Digital Transformation solution to manufacturing industries

  • Cybersecurity & Network solutions to industries for secure & sustainable operations

  • Automation products & software project programming and commissioning

  • Automation products & software services including troubleshooting and maintenance

  • Automation / MES Project Design & Development

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor Engineering Degree in any of the following functions like Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication.

• Fresh graduate / Less than 12 months experience in the field

• Adequate knowledge on Core Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and Programming Languages

• The ability to travel 75% of the time.

• Certifications in core subjects, industry internship, innovative projects

• Experimental mindset, creativity and deliver innovative solutions
