Work closely with the IT team to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the sustainability data tool.

While this position is largely responsible for collaborating with the IT team in the sustainability data tool development, it is also expected to support the sustainability data team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our environmental and social performance, and compliance requirements.

The person will directly report to the Senior Sustainability Data Manager and work closely with colleagues within the Investor Relations- Sustainability Office and across the SM Group.


• Maintain detailed documentation of data management processes, IT system configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Provide training and guidance to different business units involved in sustainability data collection and analysis as well as technical support to resolve data-related issues within the sustainability data tool.

• Support the sustainability data team to oversee data collection, storage, and management for sustainability-related information, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various sustainability domains.

• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, methodologies, and reporting frameworks related to sustainability data collection and reporting.

• Strong understanding of programming languages, databases, data structures, and software development relevant to sustainability data management.

• Familiarity of sustainability concepts, metrics, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, CDP, ISSB, etc.) to understand data requirements and provide relevant support to sustainability data officers/representatives.

• Proficiency in data management principles, including data collection, cleansing, validation, and integration.

• Ability to manage data projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate data management efforts with sustainability data officers/representatives.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the IT team and convey data insights to stakeholders.

Bachelor degree holder in a related field such as data science, programming languages and software development. Relevant degree in environmental science, or sustainability studies is a plus.

3-5 years of work experience in data science, programming languages and software development role. Experience in sustainability, sustainable development, environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility is a plus.

The Sustainability Data Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the sustainability data tool within the organization.
