Production Planning (Cosmetic Manufacturing)

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Analyze production requirements and capacity constraints to create realistic and achievable plans.
  • Coordinate with production managers and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate execution of schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments as needed to address delays or issues.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet production and customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to track inventory movements, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, including stock turnover rates, order accuracy, and inventory aging.
  • Work with procurement teams to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize software tools and systems for data tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into operations.

Team Supervision:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of inventory control and planning staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align production and inventory goals with overall organizational objectives.
  • Manage and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts within the team.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all production and inventory activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Should have an experience working in a skin care, household or cosmetic manufacturing set up.
  • Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • Office and/or manufacturing environment.
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet production deadlines or address
