We have a onshore opportunity for a Sr. Technical Architect - Katalon, for our leading client in Philippines

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Katalon Solution Architect to lead automation strategy and framework design across multiple squads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, guiding automation teams, and ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead end-to-end automation projects.
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on schedule, status, progress, and issues.
  • Design functional technology solutions aligned with project and organizational needs.
  • Define and implement an effective automation strategy using Katalon.
  • Develop and enforce automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Replicate the automation framework across multiple squads ensuring scalability and consistency.
  • Continuously optimize the framework for compatibility with varying software, OS, tools, and hardware environments.
  • Validate and monitor adherence to best practices within the automation team.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the automation engineering team.
  • Architect tool integration in line with application architecture and testing tools landscape.
  • Develop and deliver custom utilities as per client requirements including test data generation, advanced reporting, and other tailored automation solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Katalon Studio and automation architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in developing custom tools/utilities for automation support.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices testing strategies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Groovy, Java) used in Katalon.
