Qualifications:Must be a Graduate of BS AccountancyCertified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage.With 6 months of relevant experience in Accounting (For CPA)At least 1 year of experience in Tax Audit (For Non-CPA)Has strong understanding of tax laws and regulations

Experience in tax audit preparation and compliance

Duties and Responsibilities:1. Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Audit - assists in the BIR audits for the Company and subsidiaries:Prepares schedules and collates documents to be submitted to the BIRVouches supporting documents if compliant with the BIR regulations

Conducts research of tax legal bases and defenses to minimize or eliminate possible exposures

Coordinates with other departments on any clarifications on tax processes

Prepares supporting computations for table assessments with discussions on the nature of the possible exposure2. Tax Health Check - assists in the tax health check and preparation of Tax Compliance Report:Prepares schedules / summary of tax filings and submissions to determine level of compliance of tax filings and submissions

Review of compliance of tax processes

Preparation of supporting computations for table assessments with discussions on the nature of the possible exposure3. Tax ImprovementsIdentifies and documents the noted practices resulting to tax exposure

Proposes initial process or resolution to mitigate recurrence or minimize tax implications4. Tax ConsultationProvides initial advice on tax concern related to day-to-day processes

Assists in the conduct of Tax Cascade by performing research on the recently issues tax regulation, preparing the presentation materials
