Position Title: Project Manager (Hospital-Based – Joint Venture Project)


1. Educational Qualifications

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:

  • Business Administration

  • Healthcare Administration / Hospital Management
  • Nursing or Allied Health (Radiologic Technology, MedTech, etc.)
  • Management / Operations Management
  • Industrial Engineering or related field

Preferred / Advantage

  • Master's Degree (MBA / MHA / Master's in Management)
  • Project Management certification or training (advantage), such as:

  • PMP / CAPM

  • PRINCE2
  • Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt)

2. Work Experience

Minimum Requirement

  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in any of the following:

  • Project management

  • Hospital operations / healthcare administration
  • Diagnostic center operations (Radiology, Laboratory, etc.)
  • Sales operations / account servicing in healthcare
  • Service operations / facility operations

Preferred / Advantage

  • Experience in Joint Venture / PPP / Hospital Partner projects
  • Experience managing:

  • Multi-department coordination

  • Patient workflow operations
  • Revenue and billing monitoring
  • Installation/start-up of healthcare services (commissioning)

3. Knowledge Requirements

The Project Manager should have strong working knowledge of:

A. Hospital & Healthcare Operations

  • Basic hospital workflows and patient flow systems
  • Coordination with clinical departments and hospital administration
  • Understanding of patient service standards and ethics

B. Joint Venture / Contract & Service Agreement Awareness

  • Familiarity with JV operations structure:

  • Roles and responsibilities of each party

  • Revenue-sharing / operational responsibilities
  • Service-level expectations and KPIs
  • Ability to interpret project agreements and ensure compliance

C. Documentation & Compliance

  • Ability to handle documentation and reporting requirements such as:

  • billing and collections monitoring

  • operations logs
  • incident reporting
  • Basic awareness of:

  • Data Privacy Act compliance (patient information)

  • Infection control standards / hospital safety protocols

D. Equipment / Technical Coordination (if Imaging/Diagnostics)

  • Familiarity with:

  • equipment uptime monitoring

  • preventive maintenance schedules
  • coordination with biomedical/engineering teams
  • Basic understanding of PACS/RIS/HIS is an advantage

  • Strong analytical thinking for operational issues
  • Ability to recommend solutions and implement corrective actions
  • Resourceful and calm under pressure

E. Reporting & Documentation

  • Highly detail-oriented and systematic
  • Strong report writing and data tracking
  • Good in preparing weekly/monthly performance reports

5. Technical & Computer Skills

Minimum Requirement

  • Proficient in:

  • MS Word

  • MS Excel (basic to intermediate)
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Email and professional communication tools

Preferred

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in:

  • Google Sheets / reporting systems

  • CRM or project monitoring tools
  • Hospital information systems (HIS/EMR)

The candidate must be:

Professional and presentable (hospital-based setting)

Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented

Results-driven and accountable

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Trustworthy with confidential hospital and patient data

Diplomatic but firm when handling issues

Flexible and willing to work onsite and beyond regular hours when needed

Committed to ethical practices and patient-centered service


7. Physical & Work Condition Requirements

  • Willing and able to work onsite at partner hospital
  • Able to do frequent walking within hospital premises
  • Capable of handling busy/high-volume work environments
  • Can respond to urgent onsite concerns, including:

  • patient flow issues

  • system interruptions
  • equipment downtime
  • hospital coordination concerns

8. Language Requirements

  • Proficient in English and Filipino (written and spoken)
  • Ability to prepare professional emails, reports, and meeting documentation
