Work Schedule: Dayshift – HYBRID (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Type of Employment: Contractual (6 month-initial contract, possible absorption/extension depending on performance)

***Amenable for a three company-paid work trips per year outside of NCR. The duration of these trips will range from two weeks to one month, depending on company needs***

About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team at Rising Tide Digital, Inc. As a part-time Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java applications that drive our innovative digital solutions. Based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, this role is crucial in supporting the Information & Communication Technology needs of our growing company.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and implement robust Java applications that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and deliver high-quality code
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding, testing, and deployment
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure the scalability and maintainability of our Java-based systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices

What we're looking for

  • Experience developing enterprise applications using Java Spring/Springboot framework
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and authentication mechanisms
  • Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or ) is a plus
