About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our development team for a leading property and casualty insurance client. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience developing applications using ASP.NET and C#, along with expertise in Entity Framework, AWS Lambda functions, and Amazon API Gateway. Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.NET and C#.


•    Design and build scalable RESTful web services using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda functions.


•    Implement data models and manage database operations using Entity Framework.


•    Develop and optimize database structures, with a focus on PostgreSQL (preferred).


•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA engineers.


•    Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.


•    Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.

Qualifications:

•    5 years of experience developing applications with ASP.NET and C#.


•    Strong knowledge of Entity Framework for data access and management.


•    Experience creating and managing Web APIs using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.


•    Proficiency in database development; experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.


•    Familiarity with version control systems like Git.


•    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

•    Experience working in the insurance industry.


•    Knowledge of cloud-native application development best practices.


•    Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
