About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role based in the Philippines, offering the flexibility of remote work combined with opportunities for on-site collaboration and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience in backend development and a strong passion for building scalable and robust applications.

Key Responsibilities


•Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable backend services and APIs.


•Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.


•Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.


•Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.


•Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of applications.


•Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features.


•Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.


•Willingness to travel to client sites within the Philippines as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications


•1-3 years of professional experience in backend development.


•Strong proficiency in and Python.


•Experience with Django framework.


•Solid understanding of JavaScript.


•Hands-on experience with AWS services.


•Expertise in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).


•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


•Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Points


•Knowledge and experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and technologies.
