About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join EngineRoom, a fast-growing Australian digital marketing agency. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of client projects — ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client goals.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, bringing structure, clarity, and energy to every project. You'll also harness technology and AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and ensure the highest quality in delivery.

This role is perfect for someone with proven project management experience, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Project Planning & Management: Build clear project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, using AI tools to forecast, plan, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Team Coordination: Align cross-functional teams through strong communication, regular check-ins, and transparent updates.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate risks, solve problems proactively, and use AI tools to streamline risk management.
  • Quality & Delivery: Review outputs to ensure quality, consistency, and client satisfaction.
  • Budget Management: Track budgets, monitor costs, and leverage AI to optimise spend.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong client and internal relationships through clear updates and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate outcomes, adopt new tools, and introduce best practices to raise the bar on delivery excellence.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Lead in a digital agency or similar environment.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of project management experience is required for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and software (experience with a plus).
  • Familiarity with AI and technology tools that improve project delivery and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Experience in budget management and delivering within financial constraints.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional teams.
