About the role

As a Production and Material Control Planning Staff (PMC Staff) at Steelwell Industrial Hardware (Phils.) Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of production and inventory within our manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in our Lipa City, Batangas location.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and sales forecasts
  2. Monitor and analyse inventory levels to optimise stock holdings and minimise waste
  3. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow and resource allocation
  4. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  5. Provide detailed reporting on production, inventory, and performance metrics
  6. Support the planning and execution of maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant degree or diploma in Production, Operations Management, or a related field
  2. 2-5 years of experience in a production planning or materials control role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  3. Proficient in using production planning and inventory management software
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
