We are recruiting for a Finance Accountant to join our UK Finance Team, on a hybrid working setup.  As a key member of our team, your role will be supporting the delivery of relevant, timely and accurate reporting of financial management information to internal stakeholders and ensuring the integrity of financial data across UK company codes. This role will also include the opportunity to be involved in various initiatives to improve and standardise processes in addition to being responsible for the completion of regular tasks.

Some cover for senior members of the team will be required alongside support for the UK Finance Senior Accountant and Deputy Head of UK Finance with ad-hoc project work.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Records to Report Accounting, General Ledger.
  • Has certification either CPA, CMA, AAT, CIMA, ACCA, qualified or finalist.
  • Good understanding of accounting processes e.g. Month End Closing Activities, Intercompany Transactions, Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF).
  • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues in the Finance Shared Service center.
  • Preparation of Audit Supporting schedules and assist in audit inquiries.
  • Knowledge in SAP is essential.
  • Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment.
  • Confidence to identify and share proposals on improvements to processes
