Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in network monitoring or technical support (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles)
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees day-today operation and system requirements have been properly implemented and procedures carefully followed.
  • Monitors, administer and maintain the network, servers and services of Datacenters, Cloud and Manage System.
  • Identifies and responds to events impacting all systems and networks - Issue/Alert handling and escalation
  • Follow the procedure and Policy identified by the NOC standard
  • Provides support for new and ongoing projects.
  • Provide System Admin and DevOps support for the Network Operation.
  • Provide support for daily operation task and request (eg. Log Report, operation
  • reports)
  • Track problems and resolutions; follow standard NOC procedures, research questions using available information resources, redirect problems to appropriate resource, identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, track and route problems and requests and document resolutions and log all NOC interactions in centralized ticketing system
  • Ensures that service levels and quality of service business objects are being met.
  • Provides progress updates to the NOC Engineer III, NOC Team Lead and Network Operation Manager
  • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
  • Monitor the networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions for Datacenter, Cloud and Manage Systems.
