The Corporate Finance Analyst provides essential support to the Corporate Finance team by performing detailed financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of key financial tasks, including analyzing capital expenditures, developing financial models for new projects, and preparing critical reports on cash movement and debt compliance. The analyst's work ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing a crucial foundation for the team's strategic decision-making.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience in accounting or auditing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • A solid understanding of financial principles, corporate finance, and accounting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling financial information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • САРЕX Analysis: Review project-specific Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, verify supplier quotations, and validate all supporting documentation to ensure accuracy. Cross-reference with the approved budget, identify any discrepancies, and prepare a detailed analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • САРЕX Spending Tracking: Track and monitor actual CAPEX spending against the approved budget, reconcile spending with project budget and identify any variances. Provide regular reports on timely basis.
  • Project Funding Support and Reporting: Provide support for project funding by preparing and submitting key documents related to funding drawdown. Maintain a cash and loan tracker to track movement and balances. Monitor and report compliance to debt covenant.
  • Financial Modeling and Planning: Build and maintain specific components of project financial models, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data and calculations. This includes preparing the financial plan required for Board of Investments (BOI) applications.
