About the Role

This isn't a typical web development job. You won't be building full sites from scratch — you'll be the architect of iteration. As our Shopify 2.0 Developer / Integrator, you'll collaborate with our CRO Director and Designer to bring every experiment, offer, and page variant to life. Your work will directly impact conversion rate, site performance, and user experience. This is a hands-on, in-office role where you'll implement, QA, and optimize test variants inside Shopify 2.0. You'll manage theme architecture, performance optimization, and tracking — making sure every page is fast, functional, and ready to measure. You're not just a coder — you're part of a testing lab where each deployment is an experiment that shapes business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement A/B and multivariate test variants on Shopify 2.0.
• Collaborate with CRO Director and Designer to translate mockups into functional page sections.
• Maintain and customize Shopify themes (Liquid, JSON, CSS, JS) with precision and reusability.
• Ensure pages are pixel-perfect on desktop and mobile, with strong performance scores.
• Integrate and QA analytics and tracking scripts (GA4, Black Crow, Convert, Meta Pixel, etc.).
• Troubleshoot UX bugs, liquid conflicts, or load time issues across environments.
• Manage Git/version control for theme variants and testing branches.
• Collaborate with the data team to ensure all test data flows into Saras Warehouse and dashboards.
• Document every deployment for repeatable workflows and automation handoff.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Shopify development (Liquid + Shopify 2.0).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON metafields.
• Experience implementing Shopify theme customizations and dynamic content sections.
• Understanding of CRO workflows — ability to deploy fast, measurable page variants.
• Knowledge of tracking and analytics integration (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing platforms (Optimizely, Convert, VWO) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-browser, responsive, and UX issues.
• Basic comfort with Figma and design collaboration tools.
• Bonus: Experience with automation tools (GitHub Actions, AI QA bots, or workflow
• scripts).

Compensation: Monthly Rate + quarterly bonuses tied to test deployment velocity, performance quality, and uptime stability.
