The Nursing Faculty Member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in nursing education, facilitating clinical and laboratory learning, supporting student development, and ensuring compliance with CHED, PCHED, and institutional standards. The role contributes to MVGFC's commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and industry-ready nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

· Teach nursing major subjects, RLE/clinical duties, and related courses following CHED policies and program outcomes.

· Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.

· Facilitate classroom lectures, skills laboratory activities, and clinical practicum assignments.

· Monitor and evaluate student performance, clinical competencies, and learning outcomes.

· Coordinate with clinical partners, hospitals, and affiliated agencies for RLE activities.

· Ensure compliance with CHED standards, PCHED requirements, and ISO 21001:2018 documentation.

· Participate in curriculum review, instructional planning, and continuous quality improvement.

· Engage in research, community extension, and faculty development initiatives.

· Maintain accurate academic and clinical records.

· Attend meetings, trainings, and school events as required.

· Perform other academic or administrative tasks assigned.

Qualifications

· Master's Degree in Nursing (MAN/MSN).

· Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.

· Preferably with clinical experience in hospital or community health settings.

· Teaching experience in higher education is an advantage but not required.

· Strong communication, instruction, and facilitation skills.

· Knowledgeable in nursing education standards, OSCE, outcomes-based education (OBE), and relevant CHED policies.

· Ability to work collaboratively and uphold professional and ethical conduct.
