The Ortus Club is a B2B marketing company specializing in virtual and in-person knowledge-sharing discussions.

Our experienced team runs approximately 50 events a month, striving to curate intimate gatherings that bring together senior executives and thought leaders across various industries. The Role

The Ortus Club is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to bring our visual storytelling to life. As Video Editor, you will report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with our marketing and production teams to produce high-quality video content for digital campaigns, events, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with project objectives
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute video ideas
  • Add sound effects, dialogue, graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
  • Ensure all videos maintain consistent branding, tone, and style
  • Organize and manage video assets, project files, and version control
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, editing software, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high production standards

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in professional video editing or multimedia production
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related editing software
  • Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and visual narrative
  • Basic knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and audio mixing
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and creative judgment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and accept constructive feedback
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a passion for storytelling through video
