What You'll Do:

We are seeking for a skilled and proactive SOC Analyst with a strong background in Microsoft security technologies, including Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender for Endpoint. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat hunting, incident response, and security monitoring within a Microsoft ecosystem. This role is critical to maintaining our organization's security posture and ensuring rapid response to threats.

Responsibilities

· Monitor and analyze security events using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.

· Perform threat detection, triage, and incident response across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads.

· Conduct proactive threat hunting using advanced queries (KQL) and analytics.

· Investigate and respond to alerts generated by Defender for Endpoint and other EDR tools.

· Collaborate with IT and security teams to contain and remediate threats.

· Maintain and optimize Sentinel workbooks, analytics rules, and playbooks.

· Develop and maintain documentation for SOC processes and incident handling.

· Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and Microsoft security product updates.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft security products.

Certifications: One or more of the following:

· Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

· Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

· Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (preferred)

Strong working knowledge of:

· Microsoft Defender XDR

· Microsoft Sentinel

· Defender for Endpoint

· Microsoft 365 Defender

Experience with EDR platforms and threat intelligence integration.

Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) for log analysis and threat hunting.

Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and incident response methodologies.

· Experience with automation and orchestration using Sentinel playbooks (Logic Apps).

· Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills
