N-able is seeking a high-performing vulnerability analyst who emphasizes a risk-based approach to information security.

This principle should guide vulnerability management and influence how security measures are defined, prioritized, and implemented organization wide. The vulnerability analyst will collaborate closely with various teams to develop secure and robust systems supporting N-able and our partners. What

You'll DoAnalyze data from various cyber defense tools, prioritize threats based on underlying vulnerabilities and potential impact. Contribute to the development of a mature vulnerability management program. Assist in building processes and workflows that empower partners to remediate with actionable and context-aware information.

Lead in developing standards, policies, procedures, and best practices, emphasizing a balanced approach to security and organizational needs. Create vulnerability reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of the vulnerability management program, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational security goals. Monitor external data sources to stay current on cybersecurity defense conditions, determine possible effects, and align responses with organizational priorities.

Identify and evaluate vulnerabilities and threats, systematically assess how these might be exploited, what their impact might be, and recommend actions to reduce exposure to an acceptable level. Seek efficiencies through automation and orchestration solutions, reduce manual work, and enhance the organization's responsiveness to emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Work closely with various teams, including application security, enterprise IT, engineering, incident response, and security operations, to develop well-rounded solutions that align with the organization's strategy and threat landscape.

What You'll Bring5 years of experience in information security or a related role.5 years of experience with vulnerability assessment software such as Rapid7, Tenable, or Qualys.2 years of experience with AWS, Azure cloud services, and CSPM solutions.2 years of experience with building automation to reduce repetitive processes with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, including experience with pulling data from APIs, is preferred. Certifications such as CompTIA Security /CySA /CASP , GSEC, or equivalent are desired.
