Meet the team:The IT Systems & Systems Services Team is a global organization that supports all critical infrastructure services with a security and automation first mindset and practice.

The team is involved in many projects to improve our capabilities and services offered to the entire company. We lead the way in setting the standards and best practices for running and maintaining such platforms. Job Summary:The Systems Administrator role will be responsible for monitoring, administration, and break/fix support of Dexcom's Systems Infrastructure.

You will be working with a team of IT professionals in delivering 24x7 IT support services to users across all sites. The Systems Administrator will utilize his knowledge, skills and abilities to resolve incidents with respect to agreed SLA, participates in improvement of our current processes and utilize our plethora of tools and systems. Where you come in:You have demonstrated knowledge in systems vulnerability management and system hardening to mitigate Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE).

You are familiar with vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys, Nessus, Splunk) and techniques, which is a plus. You will administer and specialize in Qualys Patch Management, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Microsoft Intune capabilities to ensure large enterprise systems patch management, distribution, and compliance functions are met. You have solid experience in managing patch management for enterprise-wide Operating Systems such as Microsoft and Linux.

You are a self-driven and motivated, tenacious problem solver who will own issues until full resolution. You have the ability to carry out tasks to a high standard with a strong eye for attention to detail and a thorough approach to your work. You will develop advanced scripts using PowerShell, Batch, or VBScript for Windows servers to automate software removal or mitigate identified vulnerabilities.

You are familiar with the ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system. You possess sound knowledge in ITIL, IT operations, project methodology, and tools. What makes you successful:You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

You bring 2-3 years of Systems Administration experience. You possess solid knowledge and experience supporting Windows Server/Linux. You have experience working with monitoring tools, specifically SolarWinds and NetBrain.

You are experienced in Patch and Vulnerability Management and Remediation Tools/Processes. You have knowledge of server virtualization fundamentals. You have experience working with remote access tools and an understanding of security protocols compliance.

You are familiar with ITSM concepts, including Atlassian (Confluence/Jira). Your proficiency in multi-tasking allows you to work with numerous monitors, several communication channels, and multiple engineers/teams. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your knowledge and exposure to infrastructure include the following technologies:Hypervisor (VMware vSphere and Hyper-V)Windows/Linux Operating System and ServicesYour relevant certifications (e.g., MCP, VCP, etc.) are desirable.
