BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering or any related to maritime and engineering field.

· Proven experience in paint inspector, specifically in the marine/vessel or shipbuilding industry.

· Certified as NACE , frosio , or ex paint maker.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

· Strong understanding of marine painting specifications and standards

· Proficient in performing inspection tests

· Ability to manage and document inspection reports and progress updates

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (project managers, shipyard personnel, third-party inspectors).

· Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during the vessel's inspection

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report on progress and compliance.

· Experience preparing daily/weekly progress reports and addressing any non-conformities or issues.

· Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments such as onboard vessels or shipyards.

· Flexibility to support sister or affiliated companies in various technical and operational matters.

Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety protocols
