The Architectural QA/QC Inspector ensures that all architectural finishes and installations on-site meet the approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role includes detailed inspection of materials, workmanship, and conformance to design intent throughout the construction phase, especially for architectural elements like cladding, glazing, tiling, ceilings, partitions, joinery, and paintwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect architectural works such as walls, partitions, ceilings, facades, finishes, joinery, doors/windows, and waterproofing.
  • Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and mock-ups.
  • Monitor site installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and aesthetic standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare related inspection requests (IRs) and checklists.
  • Identify and report non-conformances through NCRs; follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with design, construction, MEP, and civil teams to ensure integration of architectural elements.
  • Ensure materials used on-site are approved and properly stored, handled, and installed.
  • Perform quality checks on painting, flooring, façade installation, aluminum/glass works, carpentry, and fit-out activities.
  • Attend internal and external inspections with consultants and clients.
  • Maintain records of inspections, test results, photographic evidence, and as-built documentation.
  • Support final snagging, de-snagging, and handover processes.
  • Assist in QA/QC audits and ensure compliance with project quality plan and ISO standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum (3–7) years of relevant QA/QC experience in architectural inspections for building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural materials, building codes, and finishing standards.
  • Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ISO), and local building regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and details accurately.
  • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and inspection software.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to design quality and safety
