We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow for analytics and reporting. Role:
Data Engineer

What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.

Develop and optimize dimensional models (fact/dimension tables, data marts) for analytics.

Implement data ingestion, transformation, and quality validation across varied data sources.

Leverage AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena) to deliver scalable, serverless data solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure governance, and support migrations (SQL Server → Aurora Postgres).

Create and maintain data documentation, dashboards (Power BI), and performance monitoring for reliability and compliance.

What We're Looking For
Proven ability to design and manage complex data pipelines within defined business domains.

Strong Python (pandas, numpy) and advanced SQL expertise for data processing and optimization.

Skilled in dimensional modeling and ETL/ELT best practices using AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena).

Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, including migrations and data warehousing.

Hands-on with Power BI, data validation, and integration across varied data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet, APIs).

Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in data engineering environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, government) with HIPAA/FedRAMP familiarity.
  • Exposure to real-time streaming (Kinesis, EventBridge) and IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
  • Experience with metadata management, CI/CD, Git, and Agile data practices.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and ML data preparation concepts.
