ERP & BI Systems Analyst (Pronto Xi / Cognos Analytics) – Permanent WFH

Role Overview

The ERP & BI Systems Analyst will act as our in-house expert on Pronto Xi and Cognos Analytics.

You'll work closely with our leadership and operations teams to:

• Develop, optimize, and automate reports and dashboards
• Identify new ways to use ERP and BI tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy
• Build and enhance system integrations (e.g., EDI, purchasing, inventory, sales)
• Help the company gain deeper insights into performance, margins, and operations

This is a technical + business-facing role — ideal for someone who loves solving problems, streamlining systems, and using data to drive better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, customize, and enhance Pronto Xi ERP modules (Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, EDI, etc.)
• Develop and manage reports and dashboards in IBM Cognos Analytics
• Support and improve data flows, ETL processes, and reporting automation
• Work with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and analytics
• Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and document system processes
• Collaborate with external partners and IT vendors as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience with ERP or business management systems (Pronto Xi, SAP, Netsuite, or similar)
• 2+ years of experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and reporting skills
• Solid understanding of wholesale/distribution or manufacturing workflows
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently with US-based teams

Nice to Have:

• Direct experience with Pronto Xi (version 780)
• Experience with EDI processes and retail customer integrations
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Framework Manager and dashboard creation
• Background in automation, scripting, or API integrations
