Mill and Boiler Manager

The Mill and Boiler Manager oversees the entire milling and boiler operations, ensuring operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

1. Operational Oversight:

• Manage and oversee daily milling and boiler operations to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct daily operational meetings with supervisors and key personnel to align goals and address challenges.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and other production teams to optimize operational schedules.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and develop a team of mill and boiler operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build team capabilities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in milling and boiler operations.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with maintenance, planning and engineering and other production teams to resolve operational issues.
• Report operational performance, challenges, and improvement plans to senior management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for milling and boiler operations.

• Drive process enhancement initiatives to improve mill extraction efficiency and steam utilization.
• Implement new technologies and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

2. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with preference for licensure.

3. Minimum of 7 years of experience in milling and boiler operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
