DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Inspect, modify and install refrigeration systems, air conditioning compressors, condensers, chillers, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves and capillary tubes and installing components such as compressors, fan motors and control valves.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of air conditioning units, make necessary adjustments or repairs and service.
  • Repair and/or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostat, automatic switches, fan motor and control, log switches, louvers, relays, filters, controls, belts, compressor, pressure controls, safety valve. Knowing and identifying parts and components of the air conditioning system.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, vacuum pump, welder torch, test equipment; maintain equipment in effective and safe working conditions; maintain parts and tool inventory.
  • Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of air conditioning equipment, component, timers, motors, and wiring systems as needed; connect motor to control panels.
  • Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints, drain pans and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems; descale tubing.
  • Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other related equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain related record concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log and photos of tasks performed and write reports as required. Communicate updates and reports effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Performing tasks using best practices and utmost safety.
  • To perform any other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or assigned team leader in ensuring all Preventive and Curative Maintenance (or aircon installation) is carried out on time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Can perform skilled mechanical duties in the inspection, repair, installation of ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and relation equipment and facilities and can Calibrate systems.
  • Can Perform preventive maintenance and routine service of equipment.
  • Can Diagnose defects, install, repair and maintain ventilating, refrigeration and air conditioning units.
  • Can use diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluating the available information.
  • Can perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Can Fix defective or broken products or ordering the necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts.
  • Can Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Can Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools utilized in the repair, installation and maintenance of ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Maintain routine records and prepare required reports
  • Willing To travel (via different means of transportation) to designated or assigned branch in the performance of PM or RCM.
  • WILLING TO STAY IN: LOCATION PAMPANGA
  • Complete at least senior high school, preferably under the industrial arts strand, or a bachelor degree in a related field such as engineering
  • Take a TESDA course in air conditioning servicing (DOMRAC NC II) or any other related certification
  • Gain experience by volunteering to maintain air conditioning units, or take an apprenticeship with an experienced practitioner
  • Atleast 1 year Experience
  • NC ll holder an advantage
  • Driving four wheel car and possesses legitimate driver's license is an advantage
  • Willing to locate anywhere
