The Senior Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to supervise junior technicians while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems (split units, VRV/VRF, ducted systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
  • Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead and supervise junior technicians and apprentices on-site.
  • Plan and assign daily tasks, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and system performance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and engineers to address technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and job completion documentation.
  • Recommend system upgrades, repairs, or replacements to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Handle refrigerants responsibly in accordance with environmental regulations.
