  1. Efficient and timely completion of detailed design and estimates of Civil work components for various projects.

  2. Able assistance to senior engineer in providing design inputs to on-going construction projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares preliminary and/or final engineering planning and design studies.
  • Conducts site inspections/visits to ascertain, in more detail, physical features of project sites preparatory to detailed design.
  • Analyzes and designs the road network, water supply and drainage systems, slope protection structures, amenities and other required facilities for the proposed projects.
  • Prepares detailed plans for roads, water supply and drainage facilities for the proposed projects.
  • Prepares detailed design of site grading and lot grading, taking into account the most economical movement of excavated materials from areas of excavation to areas of embankment.
  • Designs the structural members required for all civil / structural work in the proposed project.
  • Prepares working drawings for construction purposes, specifications for all items of work, bill of materials and cost estimates.
  • Prepares the tender documents for each project and incorporates therein any revision as may be deemed by him and/or his superior.
  • Prepares projects timetable and work programs.
  • Conducts periodic visit to project site and determine the work is proceeding in accordance with the contract documents.
  • Evaluates requests for change orders from the construction group and gives his recommendation on the said requests.
  • Assists in the reviews workings and tender documents prepared by consulting engineers/architects.
  • Coordinates with various division and department personnel, as well as consulting architects/engineers, on work schedules and design inputs/outputs required to meet deadlines.
  • Performs other tasks, which may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Civil Engineering graduate with PRC License.
  • Proficient in computer and with knowledge in AutoCAD software and MS Office program literature
  • Capable to communicate effectively (oral and written).
  • Should pass the technical examination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
