Job Summary

The Equipment Engineer shall lead, implement, and monitor the proper usage and storage of Cast-In-Place (CIP) forms for housing construction. The responsibility also includes controlling, managing, and properly recording CIP forms to be issued to the contractors to maintain the quality and maximize the mandated number of usages based on the supplier's declaration.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure and monitor the execution of methodology, capacity, and the desired number of settings of CIP forms per month are met within the specified timeline and based on the set quality standards; issues such as discrepancies and delays shall be reported immediately to the Construction Manager and Project Engineer
  • Conduct daily site inspection to ensure the required equipment and tools are available on site, such as power water sprayer, concrete vibrator, and rubber mallet
  • Conduct regular CIP form inventory in coordination with the respective Project Engineers and CIP Management Officer
  • Check and record the number of usages per set of CIP forms with the help of the Project Engineer
  • Monitor the inventory/stock of the consumable materials such as pins, wall ties, wedges, etc., and initiate requests for purchase, if necessary
  • Control and manage contractors on the correct usage of CIP forms
  • Issue a letter or incident report to the contractor with proven mishandling and non-compliance to the guidelines and standards set by the management
  • Conduct quality control and check CIP forms upon delivery on site and prepare reports and documentation for back charges in case of damages and missing parts of CIP forms
  • Conduct regular checking and monitoring of company-owned tools, equipment/owner-supplied materials (OSM)
  • Monitor pumpcrete operations and billing management
  • Safekeep and monitor proper storage of CIP aluminum forms to maintain its maximum lifespan; establish regular inspection and audit of the CIP aluminum forms components and accessories
  • Generate weekly progress reports in coordination with the Construction Manager/Project Engineer

What we're looking for:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Civil Engineering
  • PRC license is an advantage but not a requirement
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in construction site supervision, preferably with experience in handling Cast-In-Place construction methodology
  • Hands-on experience with directing the activities of contractors and/or workers
  • Ability to organize resources (time, materials, labor), multi-task, and supervise numerous crews
  • Good judgment and analytical skills to evaluate issues that occur in the field and be able to determine proper corrective action
  • Proficient in reviewing and reading engineering drawings
  • Thorough knowledge of local Building and Engineering Codes
  • Understanding of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards
  • Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Must be willing to be employed on a project-based employment contract
  • Amenable to be assigned in Brgy. Catmon, Sta. Maria, Bulacan

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
