Role description

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

Specifically, the business analyst will:

  1. perform deep dive learning of existing processes, captured requirements, design specifications and applications in relation to client's disbursements

  2. engage in requirements elaboration, solution design and review, quality assurance and issue resolution.

  3. develop additional necessary requirements for the project including wireframe and prototyping for UX|UI, data specifications, business rules, workflow, integration as well as definition of role-based access.

  4. assist in the preparation and review of test cases, test scenarios and test scripts against defined requirements.

  5. conduct product demo and usability testing amongst Product Owners and relevant stakeholders.

  6. collaboratively work with testing team and assist users with User Acceptance Testing.

  7. participate in monitoring, managing and addressing bug fixes/issues and their resolution.

The BA will work with IDSM project team including stakeholders from business, and technical subject matter experts, including integration when needed, within the ecosystem of the client

.

Skills

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of strong business analysis experience, involving end-to-end IT solution implementation and integration with other systems

  • Experience in banking, accounting, or the financial services sector is an advantage

  • 3 years of exposure to solution design and documenting business processes

  • Experience in IT application testing and quality assurance

  • Understanding of the client's business process (an advantage)

  • Knowledge of project and systems development lifecycles

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall solution delivery

  • Skilled with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English
