About the role

We are seeking a Mulesoft Developer to join our talented team at Ascendion, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex Mulesoft-based integrations that underpin our clients' critical business systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable and high-performing Mulesoft integrations to connect various enterprise applications and data sources
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing Mulesoft integrations to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and software developers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Documenting integration designs, configurations and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members to develop their Mulesoft expertise
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Mulesoft product updates, features and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Mulesoft Developer, with a proven track record of delivering complex integration projects
  • Proficient in Mulesoft design patterns, development, deployment and operations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration concepts, including API management, data transformation, and messaging patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve integration issues
  • Familiarity with various data sources, systems and technologies (e.g. SQL databases, cloud platforms, enterprise applications)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
