Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Associate will be responsible for managing and monitoring all incoming payments to ensure accurate and timely collection from customers. This role involves preparing billing statements, reconciling accounts, maintaining records, and coordinating with clients to resolve payment issues. The position requires a high level of accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices and billing statements.
  • Record and post customer payments in the accounting system.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
  • Coordinate with the sales and service teams regarding payment terms, adjustments, and credit memos.
  • Generate accounts receivable reports for management review.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment concerns and account status.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Local resident of Davao City.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable, collections, or accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry processes is an advantage.
  • Can start immediately.

Job Type: Full-time
