We are seeking an expert-level Senior Formwork Design Engineer to lead complex projects with minimal supervision and drive excellence in our design team. Offering 'in-office' or 'work from home' arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of advanced formwork systems for concrete structures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Create high-quality 3D formwork drawings, models, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla).
  • Perform complex structural analysis and calculations to ensure formwork designs meet stringent load, safety, and performance requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of design engineers, providing technical guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative materials, equipment, and technologies to enhance formwork system performance.
  • Develop cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans for formwork design projects.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, advancing expertise in formwork design and 3D modeling techniques.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in formwork design and engineering, with a proven track record on complex construction projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Solidworks, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) and concrete construction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing a team of design engineers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions independently.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, delivering outstanding results under tight deadlines.
