Overview of your Role

Responsible in the daily supervision, review work and approval of assigned junior staff tasks within its underwriting authority limits. Ensures all GUTS transactions are issued accurately and within company guidelines and made in a timely and consistent manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Financial Management.Provides underwriting administrative support to achieve Department's Revenue Target per year. Contribute to the management of the Affinity's loss ratio by strictly adhering to the established underwriting guidelines and pricing standards of the department and Pioneer Group when evaluating new and renewal insurance applications for complex risks and/or developing insurance products/solutions to ensure that only the desired and profitable risks forms part of the Affinity's and Pioneer's risk portfolio.

·       Experience Management (Underwriting Support). Improves service delivery efficiency based on agreed SLA and ensure smooth operations of the group underwriting support team. Communicates professionally with internal clients, clients and colleagues and seeks guidance on simple issues, to deliver consistent positive partners.

·       Process Management. Fulfills the following processes and activities consistently according to agreed-upon quality standards and turn-around time:

a.      Proposal Preparation

b.      Policy and Endorsement Installation

c Experience Refund

d.      Business Renewal

·       Data Management. Follows data and document management standards and procedures in handling documents and data to ensure its accuracy and completeness. Provides accurate data or completes assigned reports according to specifications while observing the SLA and the data and document management.

A Bit About You

  • Candidate must be a graduate of bachelor's degree course, preferably of any Business Management, Political Science or Business Administration.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in administration experience who specifically came from insurance or HMO industry.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel)
