Job Title: Sales Associate

The Sales Associate is a frontline retail representative responsible for engaging with customers, driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring compliance with daily operational procedures. This role plays a key part in representing the company's brand, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate financial recording at the branch level.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Greet customers with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Assist customers in locating and selecting products that meet their needs.
  • Provide accurate and thorough product knowledge, including specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales and Marketing

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Promote and upsell products, including new arrivals and in-store promotions.
  • Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions including payment processing and receipt issuance.
  • Assist in executing branch-level marketing strategies to increase visibility, foot traffic, and conversion.

Inventory and Stock Management

  • Receive, organize, and display incoming stock in accordance with inventory standards.
  • Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all products.
  • Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies or low inventory to the Branch Head promptly.
  • Assist in routine stock audits and physical inventory counts.

Store Operations

  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Follow company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.
  • Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
  • Process daily receipts and coordinate documentation with designated personnel.
  • Assist in updating branch-level books of accounts and financial logs.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to achieve sales and operational targets.
  • Support team members during peak hours and heavy customer traffic.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
