Electrician

Duties and Resposibilities:

• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects
• Replace outdated or damaged wiring and components
• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools and repair or replace faulty units
• Follow safety protocols and legal guidelines during installations and repairs
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain safe and efficient operation
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other tradespeople Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and modification
• Document inspections, safety checks, and compliance reports
• Communicate with clients regarding project updates and service details

Skills/Competencies:

• Electrical system installation and maintenance
• Circuit troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Use of hand and power tools (e.g., multimeters, drills, wire strippers)

Educational Requirements:

College graduate / vocational course
