Under the immediate supervision of the Team Head, the
Reviewer
shall be responsible for the review of appraisal reports for real estate properties and other collaterals, prepared either by in-house/ internal appraisers or accredited third party appraisal companies, as requested by Retail Banking Business (RBB) Cebu Branches, and in some cases, Consumer Banking Segment (CBS), Institutional Banking Segment (IBS), Acquired Assets Department (AAD), Remedial Management Department (RMD), Trust Group, Legal & Collection Group (LCG) and Human Resource Group (HRG).

He/ she shall also be tasked to review and approve credit investigation and title verification reports; perform appraisal inspection as necessary, (a) to conduct audit review of the appraisal reports prepared by either in-house/ internal appraisers and accredited third party appraisal companies; (b) in case of significant of volume of request and (c) for special types of appraisals.

The role also includes limited administrative responsibilities to support documentation, coordination, and monitoring of requests—promoting process efficiency without compromising the core reviewing function.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in the field of engineering, business or related course
  • Should be a licensed Real Estate Appraiser
  • Minimum of three (3) years appraisal experience - has adequate knowledge in theory and techniques in property appraisal
  • Has developed a keen sense and understanding of property locations, current market values and trends in the property market.
  • Can analyze and correlate data and familiar with styles and materials used for structures and can value them.
  • Has a network of contacts which can provide credible and reliable market data.
