Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial management functions, including accounting, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The role supports management in achieving profitability and sustainable growth across restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
  • Monitor sales, gross margin, food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses
  • Manage cash flow and working capita

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Analyze food cost, wastage, inventory variances, and pricing
  • Recommend cost-saving and efficiency initiative

Accounting & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG requirements
  • Supervise AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting functions
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax consultants

Operational & Business Support

  • Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and HR teams
  • Review POS sales reports and inventory movements
  • Support new branch openings, business expansion, and capex planning

Internal Controls & Systems

  • Strengthen internal controls and financial policies
  • Improve accounting systems and reporting processes
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course

  • CPA license is an advantage but not required
  • At least 5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, food service, retail, or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and labor-related statutory contributions
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management
  • Advanced MS Excel and accounting software skills
