Position Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing tailored software solutions that address unique business requirements. Your day-to-day tasks will include coding, enhancing system components, and collaborating with team members to deliver scalable, high-performance applications using modern technologies and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and develop subject matter expertise in assigned areas.
  • Actively participate in team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Contribute to solving technical challenges and improving system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and apply best practices in software development.
  • Document development processes and system designs for knowledge retention and future reference.
  • Support and mentor junior developers to help them grow professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Genesys Contact Center Operations.
  • Strong grasp of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks applicable to software engineering.
  • Skilled in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving complex software issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and related tools.
  • (Bonus) Experience with cloud-based systems and deployment strategies is a plus.
