We are seeking a Performance Tester with a deep understanding of performance testing strategies and tools. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts, identifying performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, stable, and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze performance requirements and design effective performance test strategies.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using protocols like HTTP and Web Services.
  • Conduct various types of performance testing including load, stress, endurance, smoke, and reliability tests.
  • Identify and document performance issues early in the development lifecycle to reduce production risks and costs.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and recommend tuning solutions.
  • Interpret performance test results and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor junior performance testers through knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to performance testing infrastructure and test environments.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of performance testing frameworks and best practices.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in performance testing and analysis across complex systems.
  • Strong knowledge of tools like Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner (or similar).
  • Understanding of performance metrics, server-side monitoring, and test result interpretation.
  • Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web services.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and test strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to clearly articulate findings and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick adaptability to new tools.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating performance tests into pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or Groovy.
