Underwriter PH

We are looking for a meticulous Underwriter to conduct initial underwriting assessments for alternative funding applications. You will collaborate with funding advisors from various regions and facilitate the submission of client files to lenders, monitoring the status of offers and denials.

• Initial Underwriting: Review and assess client applications, financial statements, and credit profiles to determine eligibility for funding.
• Collaboration: Work with funding advisors to gather necessary documentation and insights.
• Submission Process: Prepare and submit client files to lenders, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
• Follow-Up: Track the status of submissions, communicating with lenders to confirm offers or denials and relaying this information to clients.
• Risk Evaluation:Identify potential risks and recommend solutions to enhance approval chances.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all underwriting activities and client communications.
• Continuous Improvement:Contribute to refining underwriting processes and best practices to improve efficiency.

• Education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in underwriting or financial analysis, preferably in the fintech sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and regions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple submissions.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and financial modeling tools is a plus.
