Qualifications:

  1. Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Technology and equivalent 4-year course

  2. At least 2 years of related and significant work experience as Cost Analyst or equivalent role; with relevant training a plus factor

General Description of the Job:

A Cost Analyst maintains the overall cost accounting system of the hospital responsible for maintaining documentation of costing process, gathering data, interpreting variances, conducting studies/research, and providing trends/insights on the hospital's cost structure with impact on profitability for management's information and guidance in decision making in as far as cost management is concerned. He/she also ensures that costing computations are timely updated and margins are met in accordance with the pricing guidelines and strategies of the hospital. He/she provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, building positive customer relations and contributing to team effort by accomplishing targets with the organization's welfare in mind.
