The responsibilities of a Team Lead are outlined but not limited to the following:

  • To manage an assigned team of individual contributors in meeting or exceeding customer service level agreement
  • Completion of team projects
  • Adherence to operating standards and enforcement of company policies through effective people development
  • Team engagement
  • Performance management capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active PHRN & USRN license
  • At least 2 years of Utilization Management experience
  • At least 2 years of recent & pertinent supervisory or managerial experience
  • Clinical Subject Matter Expertise with the use of technical and professional knowledge and skills to accomplish results related to the process handled

Preferred:

  • Preferably with 12 months clinical experience
  • Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, especially Microsoft Office handling of spread sheets and word processing
  • Effective oral/written communication skills
  • Type minimum of 30 wpm with excellent accuracy
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be detail oriented and be able to work independently
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and claims processing
